I praise you, O God, at the end of this day.  For the mercies I have received from your hand, thank you.  For the opportunities I have had to love my neighbor, thank you.  For all the ways I have fallen short, forgive me.  Watch over those who labor this night or lie awake with pain and worry.  Grant me, and each of your children, a quiet night and peace at the last.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen
